Soft Tissue Therapy for Muscle Dysfunction

May 4: 8am-5pm
May 5: 8am-12pm

Columbia Edgewater Country Club

Portland, Oregon 97211
Instructor: Michael Schneider, DC, PhD

Seminar Description: This 12-hour, hands-on, evidence-based seminar focused on the manual treatment of myofascial pain syndromes, tendinopathies, and myofibrosis. Hands-on instruction focused on high pay-off trigger point therapy (Nimmo), myofascial stripping/gliding, and specific therapeutic stretching. Conservative management strategies for global muscle dysfunction were demonstrated and actively practiced. In doing so, cervical and lumbar spinal rehabilitation was reframed for the practicing clinician using the best available research evidence as a foundation.
